Presentation abstract: Learning session providing an executive overview of the new Oracle Maintenance Cloud product describing the key decision processes helping attendees determine how they should take advantage of this new Cloud application. Optimizing investments in assets like property, facilities, infrastructure or production equipment requires maintenance that is comprehensive and cost effective. Oracle Maintenance Cloud is designed to help customers organize detailed information about physical assets, streamline maintenance and repair work, track the history of asset care activities and manage all costs involved. We will explain features and benefits and how they are integrated with the rest of the Oracle Cloud applications. We will also provide a comparison to Oracle’s existing on-premise maintenance solution (Oracle eAM). The session will be co-presented by Jay West who has been assigned to develop Oracle’s Maintenance Cloud solution through the product’s US Special Advisory Group.

Speaker biography:  Ian is a Senior Managing Consultant and Solution Architect with over 18 years of Oracle E-Business Suite implementation experience within the Oracle sector. Ian is also the Asset Management Lead for Claremont and has been heavily involved in developing Cloud and EBS Asset Management and Maintenance solutions in many sectors including Student Accommodation, Housing Associations, Equipment Manufacturers and Telecoms.
